Vague Terrains/Urban Fuckups
Exhibitions
04/2018 - 05/2018

Role: Exhibitions Coordinator/Registrar
Francesca Gabbiani’s first solo exhibition at Gavlak Gallery presented her large-scale anarchic works of Los Angeles landscapes and non-places meticulously made with cut archival paper and ink. Works in the show were created over the course of two years.
I worked closely with the artist to catalogue many of her previous works, and coordinate framing, transportation and careful installation of the exhibition. I also assisted her with media interviews, and handled the distribution of her exhibition publication, among other responsibilities.
The public program included a performance by Kim Gordon and Dmitri Chamblas.
